Ann Murdoch-Rowe

Memorial Services for Ann Murdoch-Rowe, 70, of Nolanville, will be held at 1:00 pm on May 28, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Reed officiating. Her body has been honorably donated to science.

Ann Murdoch-Rowe died on Friday, May 20th at a hospital. 

Bertha Ann Murdoch-Rowe was born on March 12, 1952 to Mamie Alita Manning and Arthur Lee Townsend in Killeen, Texas. She was raised in Copperas Cove and graduated from high school. She was a graduate of Baptist Bible Institute and received her discipleship.  

She spent her life as a homemaker and caregiver for her family. While living in Germany she was a band manager of Easy County. Her collection included; porcelain angel figurines, windchimes, and cardinals. Ann will be remembered for her dedication to her faith and believing that “Gods’ got it and God’s got us all”. She was a proud member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she was an active member of the “WOW” their women of worth group, and Vacation Bible School. She had a servant's heart and showed it through donating her time to the church. Her meals were always appreciated and deliciously devoured.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Samuel Rowe, Johnny Murdoch, James David Williams; one son, James Williams; one brother, Luther Townsend; one sister, Wilma Hickman; three grandchildren, Andy Clarey, Dawn Williams, & Hannah Warrick. 

Survivors include one son, Robert Rowe; two daughters, Hope Ann Harris and husband Billy, Rebekah Wyant and husband David; one brother, Larry Townsend and wife LaVerne, twelve grandchildren, Chrystal Armstong, Tabitha Wildermuth and husband Skyler, Stormie Harris, William Harris, Savannah Carter, Pascha Wyant, Sara Loftin and husband Spencer, Dana McDonald, Lyndzy McDonald, James Williams, Justin Williams, Tyler Myers; four great-grand daughters, Theresa Wyant, LeeAnn Wyant, EvaMae Wildermuth, Raelynn Wildermuth and one great-grandson, RyLen Rigg, and her furbaby, “Cuddle Bug”.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, from 6:00 - 7: 00 pm at Young’s Daughters Funeral Home Chapel located at 4235 E. Bus 190 Temple, Texas 76501

Arrangements are under the direction of Sabrina N. Young of Young’s Daughters Funeral Home.
