Services for Elizabeth A. Maxwell, 84, of Spring, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Houston National Cemetery.
Elizabeth "Betsy" A. Maxwell, died on Friday March 31, 2023, in The Woodlands, Texas.
Elizabeth A. (Duggan) Maxwell was born on May 17, 1938, to Mr. F. Emmett Duggan and Helen (Dingledine) Duggan in Columbus, Ohio. As a child, she enjoyed ice skating and sewing. She furthered her education for her Associate’s degree. She met and married her husband, Sam, in 1970. Soon after, they moved to Texas and made their forever home in Spring. Together, they had one child, Brian. She managed a credit union and a Montessori School till her retirement. Afterwards, she enjoyed square dancing with the Bluebonnet Squares and served as an Officer. She enjoyed spending her holidays with extended family in Central Texas. She was a proud mother and loved her family and many companion animals, especially her pup, Jax and kitty, Sugar.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Alexander Maxwell.
Survivors include her son, Brian and wife Amanda Maxwell, granddaughter, Lexana Maxwell and grandson, Samuel "Ashton" Maxwell.
