Brenda J. Foster died on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Brenda Joyce Foster was born on August 8, 1943 to Gussie Corrine Small Waller and Henry Thomas Waller in Diboll, Texas. Brenda graduated from Nederland High School. She married the love of her life and soul mate Garland Anderson Foster I, on June 15, 1968. Together they started their family in Houston.  She became a proud mother to her two sons and a daughter. They moved to Woodville, TX in 1984 and resided there until moving to Temple in 2020.

Noteworthy, she was the matriarch of the family. She was meticulous in her decorating skills. Brenda possessed a servant's heart and it showed through her time dedicated in the church. Her heart's passions were celebrating the happy moments, spending time with her family, and shopping. Mrs. Foster was a well put together woman who cared about her fashion. Always coordinating matching accessories. Appearances were important and her passion was sincere. Time was spent in and around the home making the best memories. She raised a close family and her values will be practiced for generations to come.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Billy Joe Waller.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years; Garland Anderson “Gary” Foster I; two sons, Garland “Andy” Foster II and wife Cynthia, Rev. Timothy Wade Foster and wife Priscilla; one daughter, Angela Daphne Sims and husband Rev. Edward Sims; one sister, Betty Ruth Stanley; eight grandchildren, Bryce Sims and wife Chelsea, Brett Sims, Alex Foster, Trent Foster and wife Taylar, Andrea Foster and fiancé Glenn Stonebrook, Abigail Gawryszewski and husband Connor,  Savannah Smith and husband Kevin, Breanne Sims; six great grandchildren, Jayce Foster, Tucker Foster, Sydney Gawryszewski, TayLynn Foster, Clayton Gawryszewski and Scout Eloise Sims.
