Born on December 18, 1956, in Houston, Texas, Cele's life was marked by a deep sense of loyalty and love for her family.
A proud graduate of Leander High School, where she was a part of the National Honor Society, Cele's pursuit of knowledge did not end at high school. She furthered her education by obtaining an associate degree in quality control, demonstrating her commitment to personal growth and excellence in her endeavors. Her professional journey began at Texas Instruments and continued until her retirement in August 2012.
Cele was known for her nurturing spirit, particularly as the older sister to Vicki Feazell. Growing up, she set a commendable standard for her younger sibling, reflecting her role as not just a sister but also a trailblazer. Her culinary talents were cherished by those fortunate enough to enjoy her home-cooked Italian and Mexican dishes, as well as her delightful baked cookies that graced holiday celebrations.
In addition to her family and cooking, Cele had a passion for painting and crocheting. She was regularly seen out shopping, often drawn to her favorite color, purple. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore various destinations across the United States, including the breathtaking Grand Canyon and the coasts of California. Cele's love for the open road was evident, as she often took her time during travels, turning 30-minute trips into memorable three-hour journeys.
Cele is survived by her beloved son, Adam (Edna) Hermes; her sister, Vicki Feazell; and her cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Ava Hermes. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of seven years, Kenneth Hermes, and her parents, Edward and Josie (Crager) Feazell.
