Douglas Win Scofield

Mr. Douglas Win Scofield died on Friday, December 16, 2022 at a local VA nursing home.

Douglas W. Scofield was born on August 11,1946 to Vivian Ruth Richstatter and Raymond Winfield Scofield in Denver. Colorado. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his time in service, he furthered his career as a truck driver. He eventually came off the road and opened up his own restaurant and donut shop. Hobbies included competing in various tournaments for Yo-Yo, poker, and golf. Mr. Scofield was a PGA Tour partners club lifetime member. He was also an avid Seattle Seahawks fan. His heart’s passion was traveling. He really enjoyed visiting our country’s National parks. He also loved to visit different Indian reservations, so he could learn more about his Native American roots. We will remember Douglas as a loving father and dear friend. 

His parents and a sister precede him in death.

Survivors include his sister, Vicky Scofield of Austin and his daughter, Monica Conway of Temple.
