Jazzlyn Young

January 1, 2014 — January 15, 2023

Services for Jazzlyn Young, (Pet) 9 yr, of Temple, were held privately at the home with burial in her favorite pasture spot.

Jazzlyn Young died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at her home.

Jazzlyn Young was a beautiful black, white and some brindle short haired Cane Corso. Bought from a breeder and brought home as soon as she was able to be.  She was instantly mothered by her shorkie mom "Zephyer" and loved by her human family. As a  puppy she was very playful and needy. Growing up she attended various dog parks throughout Bell County. Her gigantic size always was the talk of the park.  When she was 1 years old she attended obedience training. She came home protective, submissive and still with her playful personality. Jazzlyn loved going on family trips and car rides. Her nature was to be protective of the children allowing them do whatever to her. At night she would wait for each of the children to go to bed and if she heard they where awake she would come into the room and stay till they fell asleep. Jazzlyn knew she wasn't allowed on the beds or furniture yet mischievously would lay until she got caught then would melt away as if we couldn't see her. Jazzlyn loved table food and her bones. She loved sleeping in the closets making her own bed of the lowering hanging clothes which had a tendency of upsetting her human father. She will be remembered for her gentle nature and window shaking growls. Her bark was very alarming for the FedEx, Amazon or anyone who came up the street. Her and Zephyer would roam the yard and even made to the neighbors occasionaly. Jazzlyns' size was comparable to the baby cows and she tried to make friends with them running up and down the fence line causing the ground nearly to shake when they all got to running. During the summer every morning she would go outside for her morning swim. She loved being in the water and her protective side shown when the children would be in the pool trying to corral them to the side stools. Her paws where so big and webbed that when she swam if she accidently scratched you with her paw it felt so painful. Many of summers should be ride on the pontoon and swim out pretty far to come back feeling so accomplished.

Jazzlyn is survived by her adopted parents, Justin and Sabrina Young; five sisters, Kayla Young, Kelsea Young, Zaydriana Young, Valora Young, Cecilia Young and one pet step-mother Zephyer.
