Josephine Miriam Zeweldi, 22,  affectionately known as Jay, graced this world on October 19, 2001, in San Jose, California. Her vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her. On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at a local hospital in Temple, Texas, Josephine passed away, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of warmth and kindness.

In her journey through life, Josephine wore many hats. She embarked on a career in various retail positions before embracing motherhood with open arms - a role that brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, evident in the matching tattoo she shared with her mom—a symbol of their unbreakable bond.

Josephine's educational pursuits led her to graduate from Nevada State High School in 2019. She continued to expand her horizons at Northwest Career College, specializing in legal aid. Her thirst for knowledge and growth was truly admirable.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Josephine will remember her for her quick wit, caring nature, and love that knew no bounds. She held her family and friends dear to her heart, considering them an extension of her own family circle. She was also known for her  funny demeanor  and playful sarcasm.

Her hobbies spoke volumes about her adventurous spirit - from camping under the stars to enjoying a swim in the cool waters. Watching scary movies brought excitement to her days, while moments spent listening to her brother read aloud filled her with comfort and joy. Family gatherings were treasured occasions where she found solace in the laughter and love shared among loved ones.

Josephine's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly becoming a mother to Caleb Brookter. The time spent with him over the years brought immeasurable happiness and purpose into her life—an experience she cherished above all else.

In this time of mourning, Josephine is survived by her parents, Abraham and Abrehet Zeweldi; Belinda and Will Wilson; one beloved son, Caleb Brookter; along with four brothers - Christian Zeweldi, Temesgen Zeweldi, Bryan Wilson, Joshua Wilson. Their hearts are heavy with grief at the loss of such a remarkable soul.
