Mark Aaron Pitts, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on August 22, 2023, in Moody, Texas. He was born on December 17, 1986, in Temple, Texas. Mark's passion for life radiated from him every day, and his impact on those around him will always be cherished.

Growing up as a "momma's boy," Mark had a deep connection with his family from the very beginning. He was an exceptional individual who was known for his hard work and dedication. In 2005, he graduated from Rogers High School where he proudly wore the number #76 as part of the football team. His passion for football showcased his perseverance and team spirit.

Mark's proudest accomplishment was obtaining his License Water Operator certification. He dedicated himself to his career at Bluebonnet Water Supply and took great pride in ensuring safe and clean water for the community he served.

A man of many interests and hobbies, Mark had a knack for making gatherings with family and friends truly special. He delighted everyone with his delicious deviled eggs, which were always in high demand at every occasion. Mark also enjoyed playing games, both video games and testing his luck with scratch-off lottery tickets. His love for Marvel movies was clear to all who knew him; Ironman held a special place in his heart. Additionally, Mark found joy in watching dragon ball z shows and passionately rooted for the Tampa Bay football team.

Mark's loving nature and sense of humor made him one of a kind. His contagious laughter brightened up any room he entered. His funny anecdotes and witty remarks will be treasured forever by those fortunate enough to have shared moments with him.

In 2006, Mark met Angela Marie Colvin—the love of his life—and together they embarked on a beautiful journey that lasted 20 years. Their love was the foundation of their family life. Mark was a caring and devoted father to his three daughters: Faith, Grace, and Hope. He cherished every moment spent with them, and his world revolved around their happiness. Mark's unwavering love and support were evident in the strong bond he shared with his wife and children.

Mark touched the lives of many, including his parents, Karen Barber (Kendall) and David Wayne Pitts (Darla),  He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his surviving family members: his wife Angela Marie (Colvin) Pitts; three daughters, Faith Pitts, Grace Pitts, Hope Pitts;  his four brothers Michael Pitts and wife Gina, Steven Pitts and wife Jennifer, Brent Barber, Dustin Barber; two sisters Jennifer York and husband Robert, Shurita Wollard and husband Larry "PB." Additionally, Mark is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

A visitation in memory of Mark's extraordinary life will be held on August 29, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Young's Daughters Funeral Home & Bereavement Center located at 4235 E. US Hwy 190 in Temple, Texas. The funeral service will take place on August 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Rogers. Following the service, Mark will be laid to rest at Rogers City Cemetery in Rogers City, Texas.

Mark Aaron Pitts brought light into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His warm smile, kind heart, and lively spirit will be deeply missed by all. May his memory continue to inspire us to embrace life wholeheartedly and cherish our loved ones as he did so passionately. Rest in peace, dear Mark.
