RAFAEL OLVERA-GUERRERO

 Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in Young's Daughters Chapel and Rosary Services for Rafael Olvera-Guerrero will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Killeen, Tx. Mass will follow at 1:00 pm. Services and burial in Wisconsin are pending.  

Rafael Olvera-Guerrero, 38, of Copperas Cove,  known affectionately as "Chafita," passed away on September 24, 2023, in the comfort of his home in Copperas Cove, Texas. He was born on January 18, 1985, in Mexico City, Mexico.

Rafael had an illustrious career that started under the guidance of his uncle, Leoncio. He learned the family trade of construction and spent his early years working on minor projects. Eventually, Rafael found his calling as a carpenter at GK Hall Construction, where he dedicated himself to his craft.

Outside of work, Rafael had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He was an avid fan of the animated series "Thunder Cats" and always made time to watch thrilling boxing matches. Another unique hobby he enjoyed was watching Rooster Fighting.

Known for his extroverted nature and sense of humor, Rafael easily made friends from all walks of life. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people and maintain strong relationships. If you were fortunate enough to be in his circle of friends, you knew that laughter and good times were always guaranteed.

However, Rafael's proudest moments in life revolved around his family. Becoming a father to his four children brought him immense joy and fulfillment. Among his children, he shared a special bond with Victor Manuel. Rafael's greatest wish for his family was for them to remain united and supportive of one another while diligently pursuing their education. He believed in the power of education and encouraged everyone around him to strive for greatness.

In addition to being survived by his loving wife Maricruz Olivier Torres, who had been by his side for fifteen years and married for three years, Rafael leaves behind a legacy through his children: two sons named Victor Manuel Olvera and Aaron Isaac Olvera; two daughters named Gabriela Azyadieth Olvera and Brianna Sofia Olvera. He also leaves behind his mother, Senorina Guerrero Mejia. Rafael's memory will be cherished by his siblings: his brother Victor Manuel Olvera Guerrero and his sisters Elizabeth Olvera Guerrero and Olga Angelica Olvera Guerrero.

Today, as we bid farewell to Rafael Olvera-Guerrero, we find solace in knowing that he will forever be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, loyal brother, adored uncle, and cherished friend. His legacy of laughter, friendship, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him. Although he may no longer be physically with us, Rafael's spirit will continue to guide and inspire us always.

May he rest in eternal peace.
