His faith played a significant role in Rickie's life as he delved deeper into it while attending church services at Temple Bible Church and sharing the daily devotion with his baby cakes Carol. He embraced his spirituality and found solace in it. The values of caring and love were evident in every aspect of Rickie's life, including how he interacted with others. His friendly nature often found him engaging in playful banter and flirting with those around him. He had a special fondness for babies and displayed infinite patience while playing with children.

Outside of work and family, Rickie had a variety of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed working out to stay fit and had an unwavering dedication to his physical well-being. As a football fan, Rick rooted passionately for both the Dallas Cowboys and the Temple Wildcats. Cooking barbecue for his friends and family was another passion that brought him immense joy.
