Services for Rudy Moreno Perez, 70, of Temple will be held at 2:00pm am at Young’s Daughters Funeral Home on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Burial will follow in procession to Hillcrest Cemetery. 

Rudy M. Perez died on Sunday, September, 25, 2022 at a local hospital. 

Rudy Moreno Perez was born on October 31, 1951 to Gilbert Perez and Susie Moreno Perez in San Antonio, Texas. The family came to Killeen, Texas where he attended high school. He started his working career as a bricklayer and later into cabinetry. While working with Juan Valerio he met his love of his life Mary J. Valerio

And married her on January 27, 1973. Together they started their family and enjoyed the simple things. Hobbies included; telling stories and jokes, dancing, watching sports,spending time with friends and family. He was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan and for the services the family encourages you to wear Dallas Cowboys colors. 

Survivors include his two sons, Rudy Perez (Tandy,) Edward Perez (Audrey); one daughter, Alice Perez (Dominique); two brothers, Richard Perez (Doris), Morris Perez (Larry); one sister, Mary Irwin(Danny); along with thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.   

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary J. Perez; two brothers, Gilbert and Bobby Perez and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 with rosary at 7:00 pm in the Kaverly Chapel at Young’s Daughters Funeral Home. 

Arrangements are in the care of Young’s Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center
