Sandra Elaine Spiller

July 6, 1966 — May 6, 2025

Temple, Texas

Sandra Elaine Spiller, age 58, entered the kingdom of heaven on May 6th at 2:15am. Sandra was the widow of John Allen Allsup, married 31 years before his passing.

Born in Claremore, Oklahoma on July 6, 1966. She was the daughter of Clarence Henry Spiller and Deloris Irene Spiller (Ward). She spent her childhood traveling the country with her family as a migrant worker picking cherries, cotton, and other fruits and vegetables. Though Sandra or Babygirl never graduated high school, she was educated in the ways of the world.

Sandra was a young mother, giving birth to her first and only daughter, Candice Marie, on December 25, 1983. She married her true love John Allen on April 1, 1993. She found joy in many things in her life but her husband and daughter brought her the most joy, that is until her granddaughters came along.

At her time of passing Sandra was a member of Impact church of Temple, TX. In her free-time she enjoyed dancing, spending time with her daughter, granddaughters, and many family members and friends. Babygirl will be remembered by her strength and the joy she exuded.

She is survived by her daughter Candice Marie Grasty, granddaughters Hope Lily Grasty and Grace Eden Grasty, sisters Loretta Weir, Hazel(Bill) White, Viola(Danny) Carr, Leona(Benny) Rodriguez, Nancy Gutierrez, and Rachael(Mike) Pritchard, her brothers Clarence Spiller Jr, Darwin Spiller, and Robert Spiller, plus many many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Faith Marie Grasty, her husband John Allen Allsup, her parents Clarence Henry Spiller and Deloris Irene Spiller, and her sisters Janice(Benny) Carr and Deloris(Joseph) Willoughby.

A special thank you to all the staff who cared for her at Baylor Scott and White Hospital.
