Beloved Rat Terrier

For 13 beautiful years, Teagan filled her family’s world with pure love, joy, and unwavering devotion. Her story began on a cold, stormy night when she made one of the most important choices of her life—she chose her boy, Colten. From that moment on, she stayed faithfully by his side, keeping close while he worked and offering a steady, comforting presence that only she could give.

Teagan also shared a deep bond with her daddy, Tyler. She loved him so dearly that she would gently tell him when it was time for bed, guiding him each night with her quiet insistence. She slept curled against our backs or tucked into the bend of our knees, filling the space with warmth, trust, and love.

She helped raise the next generation of the family as well. Our grandson Braylon grew up with Teagan, and the connection they shared was pure and full of joy. She watched over him, played beside him, and loved him with a devotion that created memories he will carry for a lifetime.

Teagan’s personality was bold, loyal, and unforgettable. Armadillos never stood a chance—she “shoo shooed” them away with pride and determination. She was quick to learn, eager to please, and delighted in showing off her tricks. Crawling and playing fetch were among her favorites, performed with bright eyes and a wagging tail.

Her gentle spirit made her a wonderful travel companion and a perfect fishing buddy, always ready for the next adventure or content simply sitting by the water with the people she loved most.

Teagan wasn’t just a pet. She was a guardian, a friend, a comforter, and a cherished part of the family. Her love was steady and true, and her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who were blessed by her presence.
