A Walk To Remember

A way to memorialize your loved one

These walks are held once a year on the second Sunday in December. Remember our loved ones and walk together to honor them.

What is A Walk To Remember about?

Each year a memorial placard with your loved ones picture & a special message will be set along a pathway for a memorial gathering to honor your family.

A moment of silence followed by a candle-lit walk-along will begin at sunset.

This event is our way to say thank you for the opportunity to serve you & to say that your journey is not walked alone.

This is a community event that we hold on the second Sunday in December each year. Even if we did not have the privilege to serve your family we are extending an invitation to have your loved one join us year after year.

Your placard will be included each year unless you elect to take it home with you at the conclusion of the event. You are welcome to bring it back the following year or even create a new one to be ordered.

How can I sign up?

To participate in this year's event simply call your Family Service Advocate & fill out your order form.

If you are a community member who would like to participate please call our office at 254-401-1302 to make your donation & place your order. Anyone can still walk as a participant who did not use our services.
